The VWRSL was established in 2010 bringing women of all ages together in the spirit of the game of softball

When does the season begin?
Our season runs from May through July
What parks are used?
We play at Connaught Park which is beside the Kitsilano Community Centre and Memorial South Park on 41st Ave in between Fraser St and Knight St
How many games are played?
There will be 12 games in the 2024 season with 1 to 2 games/week
What days are the games played?
Typically the days that are played will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
What equipment is required?
Each player will need their own batting helmet, ball glove and cleats are strongly suggested. Each team has their own jerseys
How much will it cost to play?
The league charges a fee per team and each team will determine their own cost which may include a fee for a jersey and game balls
